Sheika is the owner of The Society of Beauty and Barber Creatives. Starting as a resource hub for beauty and barber professionals in 2011 under a different name, her passion project evolved into the Shorty and DuWop Kids Beauty and Grooming Symposium, which she launched in 2018. This annual event provided children in the community with an engaging platform to learn essential beauty, wellness, and life skills, complemented by resources for parents from experts such as beauty and barber professionals, dermatologists, and financial advisors. While COVID-19 prompted a pause for the symposium, her dedication to serving the community remained steadfast.

In 2023, she revitalized her efforts and created, “The Society of Beauty and Barber Creatives,” a resources and community fellowship dedicated to community involvement and offering resources to creatives in the industry. In the summer of 2024, she introduced the SBBC Grant, embodying the motto "Enriching our Growth, Enriching our Communities." The Society aims to furnish tangible support not only to the broader community but also specifically to individuals within the beauty and barbering industry.

Sheika is a licensed cosmetologist who holds a degree in Cosmetology Business and a Master's in Human Resource Management.
